Download Simor

On the App Store and Google Play. Typing is free forever, with 15 Plus scans to try photo, voice, and barcode.

A bird on the home screen

About twenty reactions in v1. He looks ready to eat, happy when he is full, and a little frustrated when he is overfed.

Plates, not a spreadsheet

Energy bolts and an energy ring. Calories stay hidden until you tap. One follow-up, only when the answer would change the result.

70 locales in the app

52 languages and 18 regional variants, in the app and on this site.

Four ways to log

Type what you ate, in your own words. Point at a barcode on the package. Take a photo, and Simor names what is on the plate. Or say it, and Simor writes it down.

iPhone and Android

The App Store button at the top of this page is for an iPhone. The Google Play button is for an Android phone. When the install finishes, open Simor. He is already on the home screen.

Phones you can install today are iPhone and Android. Foldables, the flip phones, are still on the way. So are watches on Apple and Wear OS, and tablets on iPad and Android.

Typing, scans, and Plus

Typing stays free, including after the 15 Plus scans are used. Those scans are for a photo, your voice, and a barcode. Camera, voice, barcode, charts and analytics, meal history, and widgets are Plus, at $4 a week or $60 a year. Both lengths include the same Plus features. Lower-income countries pay less, and the app shows that price when you buy. The pricing page lists the full prices.

If the plate is unclear, you get one follow-up, only when the answer would change the result. You can edit the meal before you keep it. If you buy Plus and later want to stop, cancel it in your App Store subscriptions or your Google Play subscriptions, in the store you downloaded from.

After you keep a meal

Type the meal the way you would say it to someone in the room. Tea and a croissant is enough for the text scanner, and that scanner stays free. A photo is the plate in front of you, and Simor names what is on it. Saying the meal means he writes down what he heard. A barcode is the package, and you point the phone at it. Each of those three uses one Plus scan.

He stays on the home screen for the whole day, so the next meal is another feeding on that same screen. About twenty reactions are in v1. You see him ready to eat, happy when he is full, and a little frustrated when he is overfed. The app and this site use 52 languages and 18 regional variants.

Home shows the day as energy bolts and an energy ring. Calories stay hidden until you tap the energy count. Protein, carbs, and fat sit next to that count. You can set a goal to lose, hold, or gain. Simor shows the direction and won't promise a number on the scale.

The calories come from Edamam. You can open them when you want. Most of the time you look at the plate. If a download or a charge looks wrong, email support@simor.app.
